These truffles are a festive addition to the holidays.
Modified from The Vegan Table
1 container (8 oz) vegan cream cheese (Tofutti Better Than Cream Cheese)
3 cups confectioners sugar
3 cups non-dairy semi sweet chocolate chips
1 ½ teaspoon vanilla
Optional: cinnamon or cayenne pepper for extra flavor
Ingredients for coating truffles
finely ground nuts
toasted or raw coconut
sifted cocoa powder
sifted powdered sugar
In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth
Add confectioners sugar one cup at a time until well blended.
Add melted chocolate, vanilla, and optional flavorings, then stir until thoroughly combined.
Cover and refrigerate at least one hour or overnight.
Shape into 1" balls and coats with the ingredients above.
